Wel is more outgoing and determined than his brother, Lew, eve if a slave of Masaru and his pack. Obedient but still speaks his mind, which got him in a lot of trouble with Masaru, but he still doesn't learn about that.

After his mother's passing, Lew and himself were left alone. They were tricked by Masaru into joining his pack, tricked into believing he was a kind dog. Everything flipped around when he and his brother were being threatened to die if they tried to leave. They became slaves and always fetch food for the pack. Although Wel stands up for his brother every time he's about to get hurt, Wel doesn't mind getting hit in Lew's place.
