Lew is shy and timid, and a slave of Masaru and his pack. He's not the bravest pup, but he's also very young and looks up to all of Ohu and Lock's Pack. He's deathly obedient, even though hesitant; a trait he picked up after being a kill-slave for so long.

When his mother died, he and his brother were left alone. They were found by Masaru and tricked into believing he was a kind dog. The Great Dane eventually threatend Lew and Wel that they were forced to stay here and fetch them food, or they'd be murdered.
