Half-Brother - Blue
Nero was the leader of a small dog pack that GB and Sasuke were in. When GB and Sasuke leave, he is frusterated and angry and becomes more vicious around his commerads.
A few months later he is found attacking another dog when he is stopped by the leader of Ohu. He tries to attack him but he's quickly defeated. Nero flees with his comerads.
When he reports to Hougen about his failure, he is fatally wounded and thrown to the ground where he goes unconcious, but it presumed dead. His body is left there, and Nero wakes up in the night with his neck wound.
With hatred bubbling in his veins, Nero ran away, despite the stinging wound. He lived as a loner for many weeks, trying to gather his own comerads. On one of his expeditions, he sees a female Great Dane, with her two sons.
He watches the family in the shadows, waiting for the right moment to ask. But the mother gets shot by hunters, and Nero has to speak to her quickly. She says to take those pups and treat them kindly, for they'd been abused by their father, Hougen.
At the mention of the dog who almost killed him, Nero is almost ready to refuse, but the sight of the bleeding mother and the knowledge that humans would appear soon lead him to grab the two pups by the scruff and run away back to his den. He lived with the pups, giving them their own names since the mother hadn't mentioned them and they were too shocked and young to speak.
He named the older one Masaru, To Be Superior, and the younger one Akuchi, meaning Impure Blood.
Though he fed them and kept them safe in a shelter, he was a very strict adoptive father. He ranted about their failures, making them strive harder to become great. When they were atleast a year old, he could tell they'd become more like their father than he could imagine.
They still treat Nero with respect though, because though they've become solid, bloodthirsty dogs, they still appreciate what he's done. While they recruit comerads to start where Hougen left off, they think of Nero as the real leader, and keep him safe in their den. They both agree that if anything ever happened to him, they'd go through great lengths to get revenge.
