When Hoiler and his family jump over the gorge, Satoru has trouble finding his footing when he lands and hardly makes it over. Daddy grabs his paw before he falls.
When Hoiler is called to go help Ohu against their battle with Masaru, the boys want to go. Hoiler tells them they're too young, and leaves. The pups are left with their mother, stunned.
